# WillWatch (full)
> WillWatch is a self-control / intentional YouTube viewing product. Users curate a watchlist first, declare a daily highlight, then watch only planned videos. Privacy canonical line: On-device + optional sync. No cross-app tracking. / 端末内＋任意同期。横断追跡なし. No ad SDKs. GA4 is disabled in the current public release. Operator: Gabriel Ishizu (individual). Not affiliated with YouTube or Google.

## Product summary
WillWatch replaces impulsive YouTube surfing with a pre-declared viewing loop:

1. **Discover / Add** — Paste a YouTube video URL (oEmbed, no API key). Keyword and playlist search prefer a free personal YouTube Data API key (BYOK). Without a key, an optional disclosed Piped proxy may be tried; on failure the UI guides URL paste or key setup. WillWatch does not scrape YouTube search HTML.
2. **Curate** — Organize videos into curriculum / study folders. Optional QR cloud sync (Firebase) pairs Chrome extension ↔ Android when the user opts in.
3. **Watch** — Play from the list via official YouTube IFrame embed. Chrome MV3 declarativeNetRequest redirects impulsive youtube.com visits to the menu while allowing pre-declared watch?v= URLs.
4. **Reflect** — Diary / focus rating and optional 7-day challenge.

Android YouTube / browser limits are **guidance-only** (opens Digital Wellbeing / Chrome / YouTube app settings). There is no OS-level force lock and no Accessibility / UsageStats surveillance.

## Privacy (must not overclaim)
